The hidden costs of energy

Electricity generation and motor transportation produce health related damage. These are reflected in the high figure of 120,000 million dollars every year, in the United States. For the first time it is possible to estimate a specific figure to one of the so-called hidden costs associated to energy production and consumption, which are not reflected in market prices.
