BMW Initiative presents its second editorial project, the book Pez de Plata rBarcelona: reflexiona, recicla, responde (rBarcelona Silver Fish: consider, recycle, respond), a work reflecting Barcelona's commitment to make a more sustainable and liveable city through 24 social and environmental responsible initiatives. From the 14th to the 17th of January an exhibition will take place at the Contemporary Culture Centre of Barcelona.

Pez de Plata rBarcelona: reflexiona, recicla, responde, initiated and coordinated by BMW Initiative and commissioned by Jorge Wagensberg and Rafael Vilasanjuan, reflects the city's concern to deal with the social and environmental challenges for a better Barcelona through 24 initiatives.

Regarding this presentation, an exhibition and a series of educational activities as well as workshops for families have been organized to disclose the experience of social and environmental involvement from the different initiatives of Pez de Plata rBarcelona: reflexiona, recicla, responde.

This second editorial project of BMW Initiative is a representation of different projects trying to turn Barcelona into a more sustainable and committed place. The work exhibits the projects of organizations and companies working to respond to the main challenges of the urban environment. Apart from recognizing and transmitting the effort and work from its various protagonists, the book has the will to stimulate new initiatives in the same direction of responsibility and social commitment for the preservation of the environment. 

The exhibition will take place at the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona (CCCB) from the 14th to the 17th of January, and is proposed as a graphic tour through the 24 projects from the book of social and environmental responsibility.  At the same time, family workshops have been organized to teach the smallest how to be more respectful towards our environment.
