Get to know the most cutting-edge research happening at the University of Girona

More often than not, the tight links between scientific research and culture are largely ignored. "Girona Recerca" (Girona Research) is a conference series organized by the Girona Town Hall and the University of Girona (UgD) whose goal is to bridge this gap by offering the opportunity for the public to get to know the main lines of research and innovation that are taking place in the laboratories and offices at the UdG.

5 may 2010

UgD professors and researchers will explain firsthand their most cutting-edge projects and findings to local citizens and members of the Girona community.

Today, Wednesday, May 5 at 19:30 in the Humanities Room at the Mercè Cultural Centre, the roundtable ‘Research and Society’ will be led by Joaquim Maria Puigvert, vice rector of Institutional Relations of the UdG, along with Josep Calbó, vice provost for Research at the UdG, Xavier Mingo, director of the Mercè Cultural Center, and Joseph A. Donaire, professor at the UdG.
