That edition will analize the innovative applications and business opportunities in the Medical Technologies sector. Participants will include the the Blood and Tissue Bank and the Aifos Solutions company.

Medical Technologies are part of the so-called innovation drivers. For this reason, at today's 22@Update Breakfast, we will learn first-hand from the Blood and Tissue Bank and the Aifos Solutions company what the present situation is and what business opportunities there are so that companies in other sectors can take part. The Managing Director of the Blood and Tissue Bank, Dr Ramon Pau Pla Illa will present his institution, a public company of the Department of Health, and one of the most unique and dynamic in the Catalan healthcare system, and will talk about the alliances that they are establishing with other organisations (including universities, research institutes, scientific companies and businesses working in ICT) to develop innovative projects. In the innovator of the month section, the Aifos Solutions company will present an innovative solution based on the RFID system that is currently being applied in the healthcare sector, and he will talk about how a company in the ICT sector can collaborate with a public company of the Department of Health such as the Blood and Tissue Bank.
