Internet, satellites and mobile phones, among other technologies have revolutionized the way to understand and map cartography. The maps are no longer static but dynamic and rich in referenced data which volunteer contributors put on the network. One might say that the mapping of the twenty-first century we do together. Accessibility, democratization and constant updating are just some of its distinctive features.
