In the first edition of the Catalan Research Awards, delivered on Tuesday, the ecologist Josep Peñuelas and researcher in complex networks Roger Guimerà were recognized for their scientific achievements. The awards replace the Catalan Foundation Award for Research and Innovation (1990-2009).
