Global Talent celebrates first anniversary

On September 14, 2009, the online journal of science and innovation Global Talent News was presented in a ceremony at the IMAX Port Vell in Barcelona. A year later, Global Talent continues to grow and is being reinforced by a synergy with Talència’s other portal, Recerca i Acció.


A year ago today, the online journal of science and innovation Global Talent News was presented in a ceremony at the IMAX Port Vell in Barcelona. Since then, the project has evolved and matured. After an initial startup period, the spring of 2010 saw a reassessment of the project and the decision to strengthen it through a synergy with Talència’s other portal, Recerca i Acció.

The concentration of the two initiatives into a single platform will both maximize their potential as well as streamline their management. The ultimate beneficiary will be the user, who will have better access to a greater amount of content in a single website. The result of the integration will be visible in a few months.

Meanwhile, Global Talent continues its work. Since its beginning, its staff and contributors have published a considerable number of in-depth articles on diverse subjects as well as opinion pieces by experts and daily news on research, technology and innovation. This dynamic continues and new content is added on a daily basis.
